Gulfstream's 3rd today, because of so many troubled trips last out, etc, the entire race is a crapshoot.
2-7/2, 10-4/1, 1-10/1, 9-8/1, 6-12/1 |

I like Joppa Flat's in the last.. really interested to see how he does..cause there's another one from his last race running tomorrow. If JF does well today, I think it bodes well for the saturday runner.

JF (7-2) is strictly the one to beat with turf master Castellano aboard given his promising turf debut (despite a poor start) vs subsequent G3 Palm Beach victor Duveen. However, I think there will be value on the board with #2 Zounds (8-10 who exits the same race and makes just his 3d l/t start. This $625K 2yo purchase should move forward smartly off a very troubled trip in that race which saw him checked and rank early but absolutely fly home from the back of the pack in the field of 12 to finish less than 1 length behind JF. |

These turf races today are just awfully tough.
Here's what I came up with for today, ordered by preference in each race -- not just making lists of contenders: 1. Tiger Jen (5-2), Gentle Appeal (4-1) 2. Gatica's Law (4-1), Kentucky River (3-1) 3. Back to Mandalay (6-1), Perfect Bullet (6-1), Blazing Dynamo (7-2), Gitterboy (4-1/FLOP) 4. Brahm's Way (4-1), Wonder Cat (3-1) 5. Early Hatch (3-1), Great Bridge (12-1), Golden Ballado (6-1) 6. Donnie's Madam (4-1), Soweto (8-1), Angela's Rainbow (2-1) 7. Dean's List (3-1), Hopes and Dreams (4-1), Criminologist (6-1) 8. Thanks Dubya (5-1), Moon's Halo (3-1) 9. Allegedly True (12-1), Angelouie (6-1), Joppa Flats (7-2), Lattice (6-1) |

Yeah, Mountain Wolf is the horse I'm interested in tomorrow at Gulfstream (besides those 'other' races!) --By the way, anyone think 6-1 morning line on Blue Bullet in the Aventura is a little high? I think he's got a real shot at winning that race.

In the 3rd, I agree on Roman's Dockmaster, but I still like the #2 Toner's, Blazing Dynamo better. And in the 4th I have the #5, Valid Trick, as well. Now, in today's 9th race, I like the obvious, though I'll look very closely at Frank Brother's #4 Winning Apitude, who goes out for his second race, adding blinkers with Guidry. He may be racing him before leaving for Keeneland, still I'll look at this one. |
