Cubbies For Sale
Tribune Co is announcing in Chicago today that they will sell the Cubs and Wrigley field following the 2007 season. I think this will be a popular move locally.

If we do something like DeeTee stables where every pitches in $1000 we would only need 800,000 people more

CHICAGO -- Tribune Co. has accepted a buyout offer from real estate investor Sam Zell in a deal valued at about $8.2 billion, the owner of the Chicago Tribune, Los Angeles Times, TV stations and the Chicago Cubs said Monday.

Cub's weren't part of the deal as they're reporting in Chicago. Zell made his money in apartment buildings so I'm not sure what he's doing here.
