Default Arlington Poly Park

So compared to last year has the number of horses breaking down been reduced? Sure don't here anything like last year. Can we say it was agood move? Seems that way but not close to the action there....until July 11th!

Also interesting that turf went up by about 3/4 of a head - guess more horses on track?

All the horses stay much sounder training on the polytrack and all the horses train on the polytrack. So you would expect there to be more starters on both the turf and the dirt.

you'll get more turfers as they have an alternative if it rains, most of them handle the poly ok--can't say the same about a sloppy main track.

mudders may run out of places to run!

local writer had this article in NTRA. Captures most of the high spots.
Its been a terrific move for AP. Pletcher has a string out here, many more horse up from KY, and from what I hear, so far there have only been two racing breakdowns.

I could easily believe that there's only been 2 breakdowns. I personally only remember one, as it was my pick in that race.

Arl Jim..Nice meeting you today..

They probably had 15-20,000 people today there..Same way every Sunday. That NEVER happened previously

And to all who helped bring Ben's League home...Thank you..Your support was awesome and we all know who won that race...and it wasn't the 1

Great numbers from Chicago. I haven't paid much attention either, but might have to...

same here Bob, it was a nice day.

didn't get to tell you about my "score" in the last race. Took down the super but of course it was for 20cents so I collected like $29 after investing $20. NICE!

The poly is a huge hit. DTers Scav, BrianWSpencer, JDM, Arl Jim and Sent to Stud shared in GBBob's agony. Despite the horrible call by the stewards it was a great day weather-wise. LOL

I've never enjoyed a single race meet more than I've been enjoying this one so far. Full fields, competitive races, and an incredibly fair Polytrack that doesn't discriminate largely against a single type of horse.

Good meeting everyone yesterday!
