Default Brass Hat/Willie-NTR (With PDrift arguing!)

Brass Hat just set a new track record at Churchill Downs for 1 1/16

141.27 beats a record set in 1970 set by Yes Sir

congrats Willie/ Brass Hat

oh and he paid $6.20

btw... if it was any closer Student Council would have come back and won it. it was a thin nostril.

Perfect Drift doesn't like Churchill. He was there until the stretch and had nothing.

Buff Bradley on the show tomorrow for sure.. Maybe Willie too. It's such a great story and he's an amazing animal.

It would be hard to believe a horse that finished in the money in the Kentucky Derby doesn't like Churchill.

Hes 200 years old.

If that horse would have been in a different barn there is no telling how much money he could have knocked down

I have to agree with you on this one. Hard to complain when he has won so much $$$ but I think the number could be much higher with a different trainer.jmo

Yea, your right. I know its easy for us to "arm chair" train but I just see glaring mistakes in this horses career.

Wasn't his only grade 1 win in the Foster and was a nostirl from winning it last year as well. HE always liked Churchill...(I sense sarcasm)

This is one of the best managed horses in modern history. I have not seen hardly any mistakes. Care to expound on that?? My favorite part is that he was one of the only if not only eastern based hdcp horse to travel west regularly.

He should have won twice as much money. That horse was a much better horse than his earnings or record would indicate. It indicates he was a nice horse, he did it himself, he could have been any kind.

Go through his entire career and tell me which races he shouldn't have run in, and what other races he should have. Tell me the EXACT mistakes made ages 2 through 8 with this horse. Otherwise it is all meaningless. should've could've is meaningless. I have eyes as well. Is Murray a good friend of your's?? I've never met the man myself so I don't know him at all. Since following his career since age 3, I really havn't ever said seeing him entered in a race saying to myself..."no way this horse belongs here." Perhaps you have...enlighten us all.
