Default Biggio had enough

http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2947484

Billingsley smoked him with a high outside pitch in a big spot in yesterday's game.Time to go.

According to baseball-reference.com he does:

HOF Standards: Batting - 55.9 (41) (Average HOFer ≈ 50)
HOF Monitor: Batting - 172.0 (58) (Likely HOFer > 100)
Overall Rank in parentheses.

Sure does. Only player with 3000 hits, 250 HRs, 600 doubles, 400 SB. Only Speaker, Rose, Musial, Cobb and Brett had more doubles. Won four Gold Gloves. Caught over 400 games, etc.....

From one over the hill guy to another....Seanez threw one straight down the plate for the old guy.Biggio is no longer a career .211 hitter with the bases loaded.Still can't believe that piece of crap Lurch(Hendricksen) made him look bad earlier in the game though.

On the plus side, the Dodgers have seemingly found their bats..and Chad was superb last nite. Hopefully, he can continue to pitch close to that for awhile! Hendrickson doesn't use his height to his advantage, imo! It's much easier to hit a flat pitch(no matter the speed) than a pitch that starts at 10ft.

They are gunna have to trade one of these kids for some pitching.Seanez has looked pathetic the last 3 or 4 games. They have PENNEY,LOWE,Blillingsley, and that ain't gunna get it done.Just like tonite. They couldn't get to Broxton. These triple A GUYS CAN'T MAKE TO THE 6TH,AND THERE IS NO MIDDLE RELIEF.They are clueless about this club's lack of pitching....Martin just pulled something. They ain't got enough.Maybe next year.By the way,if that ain't cookin' oil on the face of Tomko's momma, then it's something pretty damn close to it.
