Arlington Stakes Contest - Race 16
Yes this is the G2 Washington Park Handicap. The same race that horses like Coaltown, Dr. Fager, and Spectacular Bid once won. Somehow I think those three could have run backwards and defeated the field this year.
This group makes me long for Suave and Perfect Drift again. Anyway, good luck to everyone. Congratulations this week to brianwspencer who managed to be the only person (somehow) to pick Lewis Michael, and was therefore our "big winner" with an amazing score of $8.90.
Next Saturday we have off, and then in two weeks.....MILLION DAY!!!! We will be playing four races that day (the three G1s and the Sea O'Erin Breeders' Cup Mile) so people will have an opportunity to make a big move. Thanks again for playing. 1) DerbyCat - $413.40 + $0.00 = $413.40 2) Buffymommy - $183.30 + $0.00 = $183.30 3) brianwspencer - $149.80 + $8.90 = $158.70 4) ArlJim78 - $146.30 + $8.40 = $154.70 5) avance2000 – $110.40 + $2.40 = $112.80 6) 2 Dollar Bill - $96.30 + $2.40 = $98.70 7) Angelsita - $88.80 + $8.40 = $97.20 8) Swedejxn - $82.70 + $8.40 = $91.10 9) miraja2 - $89.50 + $0.00 = $89.50 10) Gaines2b - $85.50 + $0.00 = $85.50 11) Scav - $69.60 + NP = $69.60 12) dylbert - $69.30 + NP = $69.30 13) Cajungator26 - $63.60 + $0.00 = $63.60 14) trifecta124 - $49.80 + $8.40 = $58.20 15) timmgirvan - $49.60 + $0.00 = $49.60 16) viscount26 - $44.50 + $0.00 = $44.50 17) gamblin4ever – $10.80 + $7.70 = $18.50 18) cowgirlintexas – X + $8.40 = $8.40 |

Nothing like showboating over a 4-5 winner Catalano said he thinks he might have the best polytrack horse in the country -- not sure I'd go that far, but regardless of the strength of the field, I'm not sure he could have done it ANY more easily. He looked great -- what a day for homers who have been following him from the beginning! |
