I'm having a hard time making my top pick in this race.. I've landed on Da Stoops but wouldn't be surprised if just about anyone else one this one too. I'm still concerned about Keyed Entry's first race back after the Derby.. still not convinced Strong Contender is really that good... If there's enough speed up front, Doc Cheney could pounce.. and if it completely falls apart on the lead, DFR could steal it late... But, in the end, I'm hoping Da Stoops gets a nice stalking trip and makes his move turning for home to get there first at the wire. Any guidance or other opinions would be appreciated though!! Good racing luck to all today.

I like Da Stoops but think Keyed Entry might run away with it if he runs his race. Should be a good race. Unfortunately I am going to miss it because I am going to go sit in 90 degree heat with the girlfriend's dad and watch the Mets v Pirates.

Nice race to watch bad race to wager on...
Too many horses can win this one and none of them will really be at decent odds given the small but competitive field.

Know who I picked for the Race of the Day contest? Regent Spirit. Winner over the track and distance last out, at An1x level, his first try past 7f but the sort of distance for which his breeding says he will like. Breeding also says that this half-brother to Diligence and Win Crafty Lady will improve as he matures. Raffy flies up from Lousyville to ride. Why not? (Especially in a contest where I'm not penalized for being wrong.<grin>)

IF the track comes up wet(50% chance) by the time they run the Dwyer. Da Stoops will win hands down.

Hmmm. I'm going to gamble on KE and Da Stoops getting the early lead and then wearing out...so, to go out on a limb, I think it will be Doc Cheney, followed closely by Strong Contender, and Dontfearthereaper to show.

Please, lord, humor me. I couldn't be a handicapper to save my damn life.
