Default Del Mar 8/1 Wed

I love playing Wed, always good prices - and today should be no different. I am already looking at Thurs in preperation for the Carry!

Need some input from you guys and gals. Any thoughts on the 6th, 7th, and 8th?

6th = A ton of early gas..Can Coco last? The pace may be even to fast for the closers to get into. Why is Flores not on Windy, and will the blinks keep her closer? Is Ex Caelis being turned into a sprinter by Mandella, or is it a prep (and why are there gaps in those super fast works)? Maybe it is as easy as So Long Sonoma, but why has she not won the past 5 times as the fav?

7th = For Sale sign on True and True coming out of a horrible perf in a G1? Talamo on and off Babe Hall who ran a great race last time. Is Polyfirst gonna take to the poly - should by name you would think (and that recent bullet at Dmr)? Carla Stripes is better than she has shown. Seaside Affair could get a great trip but thinking she folds up the tent in the lane.

8th = Uhg. Frankel horse (with Flores up) comes back with Blinks (same as Windy) after DQ last year first time out in a slow race speed fig wise. Did beat a decent horse in Arti Max though. Not sold and will be overbet. Mandella looks like he has a good one in Awesome Feat, bet well both times she has sprinted. Although, stretching out for the first time and moving to turf = no sure thing. X Factor could be Finding Aurum at 20-1; $300k Seeking the gold filly has been just running around the track but gets blinks and turf, and she should love the turf. Pride of Pegasus (6-1) only beat Finding Aurum (20-1) by 1.75 lengths in June. Great stamina building works just not sure of the talent level.

Late Pick 3
5,6,8/3,7/1,4,8,10

Root I think Finding Aurum has a real shot of winning. Don't think we'll get 20-1 on her.
