Default Favourite commentary ever

What is your favourite race call of all time in international racing? There would be a number for me, but this one gives me goose bumps everytime. The horse was a legend in his own right, too.

I saw this on tv just a moment ago, which is the reason for starting this topic.

Whether you like this horse or not, you have to watch this.

It needs no other explanation.......

That one just about had me in tears.

God he was brilliant.

I'll have to think... way too many favorites.

Yeah, this call gives me goose bumps. The way he says "the best just got better!"

and it makes me laugh the way he goes on about Silent Witness and Ghostzapper.

Have you any idea of that race callers name? I hear him quite often, but i don't know who he is.

Probably any commentary of that race would be high on my list of favourites, but still. Amazing. Wish I could have been old enough to appreciate it live, but I was only 6 months old at the time!

Wow...... he got a little bit excited there, didn't he

Reminds me of the Lava Man call earlier this year when he won by a nose.

Yes he did, but Holy Bull was pulling away from one of the finest fields assembled. Every other horse in the race was a Grade 1 winner including the Kentucky Derby winner, the Belmont winner and the Pacific Classic at Del Mar winner (Tinners Way would win The PC again in 1995).
