Default Lone Star Late PK 4 - Fri 7/7

The account stands at plus 788 and it's a must to take a plunge into the Friday night late pick 4 at Lone Star, especially with the meet coming to an end on July 23rd.

Race 7
#1 Gathering Sky - Could easily repeat from same post.
#2 Wild Late Nite Fun - Her lone try on the lawn was solid.
#5 Excellant Shannon - Her best speed fig came in her only turf try.
#6 Miesque's Affair - Speed to spare.

Race 8
#3 Light On Broadway - 9yr old Gelding is still capable versus these.
#5 Tiki Island - Turf to Dirt plus the drop.
#6 Paradise Peak - Look passed his last and he fits well. He could be long gone as they turn for home.

Race 9
#4 Doc O Dynamite - Makes turf debut in the right spot.
#5 SAVONAROLA (GB) - Big drop and plenty of ridiculous speed up front. The grey nails them late.

Race 10
#3 Speedmeister - Makes 2nd start of the year and switches turf to dirt.
#6 Shinnied Up - Back to the level he belongs.
#8 Mach Twee - Huge drop makes him a serious contender.

Play #1- .50 cent unit PK 4 - 1 2 5 6 with 3 5 6 with 4 5 with 3 6 8 = 36 units for a .50 cent play.

Play #2 - 50 units to win on Race 9 - #5 Savonarola (GB)

A total of 86 units played leaves the account at plus 702 units

Good Racing Luck

Race 7 started off really chalky with the odds on favorite #2 Wild Late Nite Fun coming through on the rail and held off the #1 Gathering Sky.

Race 8 was a staggerfest in the last furlong and longshot #2 Turnpike blew up our PK 4 ticket paying $51.60 to win.

Lights on Broadway. A horse that needs to feel right these days. I have watched this one for 4 years. Tough one, but is inconsistent now. And when they go out to fast at LS in this part of the meet, they will indeed look like drunken sailors swaggering home. Not the greatest horses. The cheap speed is not holding this part of the meet. Some horses are coming from well off the pace.

Good luck with the rest of those plays. Thanks for putting them up.

Sweepingly in the next race has been an absolute monster. I think they may be running him back to soon though.

Race 9 was one wacky race. The #1 horse lost his rider at that starting gate and the 6-5 favorite #3 Sweepingly never came out of the gate. Apparently he hopped when the gate opened and said forget it. Our selection #5 never fired. The great thing about racing is that tomorrow there are more races.

Thanks, pgardn
