yah i know B, its a bad article to put there as to why it upset people. But that was the reaction of Filipinos in the Philippines and most here in the US. I personally have no problem with what was said not one bit. It was just really interesting the reaction it got |

Having not seen the actual show I too make the assumption the man she was talking to wasn't obviously non-filipino, in that case there is concern. However as a product of the american system where for the mere $250 K in loans, I put into my education, internship, residency and fellowship I am sure the 10 years after college obtaining the credentials for the privilege to practice were in fact the best available in the free world. No apology is necessary for being proud of american medical care as the best in the world despite it's many imperfections. |
