Default Beasley, Love, Mayo or Gordon

If you were starting a team which one of the above would you pick? I personally would pick Beasley. I got to watch tons of college b-ball over the weekend and that Beasley is unreal. Also, watching a weekend of college b-ball reinforces my love for the NBA.

LeBron wasnt one of the choices. But man, what a year he is having. He might be able to avg a triple double for the entire year one of these years. He and The Big O.....

I was able to see Mayo in that tournament USC played in over the holiday. He is good. Plays good defence, knows how to space on the floor, good shooter and definately a true leader.

My knock on mayo is he has too high of a dribble and he dribbles to much. His game is already suited to the NBA iso offense. Love is the one that has impressed me the most. Teams have been throwing everyone at him and they can't seem to stop him. Needs to work on the offensive game a little but besides that, hes very solid.

If your list is to include all of the top freshmen, I think the following should also be given a good look:

JJ Hickson, NC St.: averaging 18.5 pts and 8.3 boards on 73% shooting.

Kyle Single, Duke: 14.1 and 6.3 on 59%.

Blake Griffin, Oklahoma: 15.0 and 9.2 on 58%.

Donte Green, Syracuse: 20.5 and 8.3 on 52%.

Jonny Flynn, Syracuse: 12.5 and 6.8 assists.

Jarryd Bayless, Arizona: 18.8 and 4.7 assists.

James Harden, Arizona St.: 17.6 and 5.6 boards.

Patrick Patterson, Kentucky: 15.8 and 8.8 on 67%.

Derrick Rose, Memphis: 17.0, 5.0 boards, 4.3 assists.

Jeff Jordan, Illinois: 0.3 pts, 0.3 boards, 0.3 assists on 0% shooting.

I'll mention Kosta Koufos just to be a homer because he went to my high school! He struggled mightily last night however.
