Default Top Ten 2008 3 year olds

In listening to the show tonight Mr. White gave his updated Top 10 list as follows... My question is Z fortune ran a decent 2nd to Pyro and also won the Lecomte so why he ranked 8th while Elysium Fields is ranked 5th? ...also what happened to The Roundhouse?
1. Pyro
2. Dennis of Cork
3. War Pass
4. Cool Coal Man
5. Elysium Fields
6. Colonel John
7. El Gato Malo
8. Z Fortune
9. Court Vision
10. Majestic Warrior

Mine are as follows
1. Pyro
2. Dennis of Cork
3. War Pass
4. Colonel John
5. Z Fortune
6. El Gato Malo
7. Cool Coal Man
8. Blackberry Road
9. Elysium Fields
10. Court Vision

Is this thread about top ten 3yos (as it says in the title) or about top ten Kentucky Derby hopefuls? Those are two very different questions that seem to get conflated this time of year.
At this point I don't see how War Pass could be considered anything other than the best 3yo running right now.
He might actually be the #1 Derby contender as well, but people could certainly make the case for others in that department.

Come on, he's no worst than...say... Alaazo or many other three year olds. Anyways, his maiden breaker was impressive

It was his style, not the figure I meant. I guess I have a thing for "fast closing" horses.

And, apparently, slow closing horses.

If you put Adriano in the top spot, could you still retain your post as president of the Giant Moon Fan Club?

Guess I should put my money elsewhere instead of this one, right?

It was the "cold sore" comparison that changed my mind.

I actually agree with you a little on this. I don't think he is one of the top ten Derby horses by any stretch of the imagination, but I do think he has a pretty decent chance to win the Gotham at least.
He certainly isn't great, but I don't think he is as bad as many on here seem to think.
