Default "The Killer" Jerry Lee Lewis

I am going to see him at Belterra Saturday night. Crazy that so many guys my age bracket (mid 30's) dig his work. Can't wait to see him again work his magic on the piano.

Any other people out there that dig his music? His style? He will not be travelling around a whole lot longer so gotta take his shows in when they are close to home.

I like Jerry Lee, But I don't know if I would go see him live. Whole lotta shaking is my favorite song. I did likethe movie Great Balls of Fire, thought Dennis Quaid did a great job playing "The Killer".

Agreed, Quaid was better than the film in total, although it's one of those films each time it's on I can't help but watch at least a part of it.

I believe he is 72 years old now. If you look at his website man he shows age. Crazy thing is he only has like 3 shows scheduled right now. This Saturday at Belterra in Indiana, one in Memphis in May and then Mansfield, Ohio (what? 45 minutes away a cow town) in October.

Can't wait to see this show and man it is gonna be a loooonnnnnngggggg
day. I work from 5am till 1pm, run home and take a shower then my pal picks me up. We head down, show starts at 7pm, then we obviously have to gamble a couple 20"s (really?) and then our designated driver drives us home. Back at work Sunday morning.

Is he still married to his 13YO cousin? She must be 65 now!

The Killer is from Ferriday, Louisiana, about 60 miles east of me. Brother Jimmy Swaggert's cousin as well... Ferriday's other famous native, CNN's Campbell Brown.

Its 1:45 am est and I got home a little while ago. Tired as all get out but just wanted to share this..........

The Killer still has it my friends. Still rockin and rollin killing em' one song at a time! One other quick thought or two -

The crowd was a great mix of all ages

When his band introduced him, everyone in the house stood up and applauded. Great stuff paying tribute to a legend!
