Prado on Adriano
http://www.thoroughbredtimes.com/rac...rby-mount.aspx
Chalk it up to his relationship with Motion, or does he (or his agent) think Adriano's got a better shot than Tale of Ekati or Monba?

I suspect Robby Albarado will end up on Z Fortune.

Well, at the Team Penning Monday night, Jamie Theriot showed he really has an excellent seat on a horse and some cow sense. Julian L. is okay, and Robby A. looked a bit out of place. Angel C. was there, but I don't think he was really participating

I will still be using Tale Of Ekati in all spots of my ticket, can't say the same for Adriano however.

Bill W. is in town and goes, I went along with him - pretty fun stuff! But Theriot really does have a very good, soft seat on a horse. Pat Day was there, too. Who else, Bill?

I would have loved to have been there for that. Must have been funny to see some of them on a cutting horse. Glad to hear Jamie kept up his Cajun heritage, he seems as though he's into that kind of stuff. At the fund raiser for EJ Perrodin Jamie donated a cow skin saddle for the auction. We all had a big discussion if he actually ever used it. Hey next year I'll send ya a catahoula dog for the jocks that have a hard time. What a fun thing, glad you enjoyed yourself, did you buy the right calcutta? |

LOL - I didn't bid. The big farms were bidding, most teams were 1-2 thousand dollars.

[quote=DaHoss9698]adriano was horrible on dirt in the FOY, and that race has came back to be a horrible race QUOTE]
As mentioned from another poster, Adriano came back to win. Also Monba was in the FOY (won the Bluegrass). Other horses that came back and "ran respectively / well" include Golden Spikes (2nd in Hawthorne Stakes), Court Vision (3rd in Wood), Kentucky Bear (3rd in Bluegrass). Thats almost 1/2 the field that came back and hit the board in G1/G2 stakes in their next starts. Not sure how that translates to a horrible race? Funny how things change in 2 months. The week of the race everyone on this board was amazed at the depth of that field. Now it is a horrible race? I think when you go back and look at that field at the end of the year at least 3/4 of this field will win a graded stakes race this year. |
