Default Big Brown Beyer for Preakness was a 100

Is this the slowest winning of a triple crown race since Jazil's big 95?

Give me a break. A 100 beyer is never good for this caliber. It is grade 3 caliber and the rest of the field couldn't even run it. This is easily the slowest group of 3 year olds in decades.

Would you PLEASE stop acting like you know what you are talking about.
This horse is a freak. I can't wait to see him destroy your Casino Drive. Did you watch the race yesterday or did you have your head up your ass like you usually do.

Why would anybody care about a BSF for yesterdays race? You had a record setting track, a moderate pace and a horse who basically was shut down with 1F to go? Did you think it would be a fast figure?

So it proved that there was nobody else in the race...thank you Capt Obvious.

Me and Andy Beyer. The horse is not running fast. What do you want me to tell you that he is just so good that he is making these horses look bad. These are terrible horses. Half of the Derby and Preakness fields are mid 80 beyer horses that belong in allowance races at Monmouth.

Thank You Tiggerv. He obviously didn't watch the overhead to see how he dominated the field.

Why would I care about the other horses? It doesn't bother me that it's a weak year. Not one bit. This animal continues to impress me more and more every race. You've made it clear you don't like him. I don't really care who you do or don't like. I also don't care if it was a low Beyer. Thyere's not another 3 year old who can beat him.

Anyone that blindly bets figures will lose, period. Whether mine, Beyer, Thorograph, Sheets, whatever. But they are a pretty good starting point.

"a follower of the BSF"? Umm, Beyer's BSF is not saying BB is slow. He is saying the Preakness was run in a slow time. Anyone who was not comatose while watching the race could see that Desormeaux and BB could have gotten to the wire much faster than they did, and earned a higher BSF in doing so. Desormeaux had his eyes on the Belmont wire, not the Preakness wire.

In Beyer's column he merely said the horse hasn't beaten much yet. Hard to argue with that.

He also says the horse has yet to run a fast race. The horse hasn't even broke a 110 beyer. He appears to be a 105 beyer horse. Nothing special there.

And Casino Drive won the Peter Pan, with a great trip, getting a 99 Beyer.

Maybe you should get the beyer correct and then you can comment.

They moved it up two points. Well, that certainly makes all the difference in the world.

Out of curiousity, after Casino Drive tanks in the Belmont, will you be slinking out the back door or changing your name to Mien?

I don't need to slink out any door. He will win, go back to Japan, and then take on Curlin. BB will lose and the excuse will be a mysterious injury and he will be retired.

As for the beyer, they did move it up 2 points but they should have moved in up 7 points. There claim that the track got that much faster was nonsense. He did it in his second career start off a long layoff after quarantine. Only exceptional animals can do that.
