How many $2 win tickets do you think will be purchased at Belmont for Ebay purposes?

If they would only point him to the Mike Lee in hopes of capturing the so far elusive Big Apple Triple I could see a cottage industry opportunity arising.

I hate that Mike Lee race. Horse who came in 2nd in the 2006 B.C. Sprint is what? Whatever that bitch's name is. He is not worth lookin' up, but he backed up in the Mike Lee. I despise that race. It's like acid being sprayed. You wonder why people don't like New York breds. Start with that animal. I remember him simply looking like he took a dart in the neck. He was so upset that some Baffert horse wanted the lead. He simply packed it in mid-race.

It's a 7F Stake for NY Breds. I am a little confused as to how it conjured up so much venom.

For me,it's because that bitch Friendly Island backed up about 2 f into the race, and for the other board members it was because the winner died of a heart attack. I told them that happens quite a bit to horses who beat me in big spots. They didn't like that, and then about 2 months later it happened again. They didn't like that at all.

So therefore the Mike Lee is a detestable race?

I don't get it.

Yes, I don't like the race. It's no doubt a yearly get together of highly inconsistent young New York breds going 7f. Well, watch the race. Did Friendly Island ever run that poorly again? To me it's marred forever. I told you the winner died about a week later. It's just my least favorite race. I'm sure everybody has one.

Friendly Island ran a similar race later in the year in the Fall Highweight. The Mike Lee was his second career start and he dueled in a blistering pace.

Maybe I'm just odd, but I don't hate specific races. Lorenzoni beat Easy Goer by a nose in Easy Goer's debut. Less than 18 months later Lorenzoni was running in bottom level 14K claimers in NY. Should I hate MSWs because of that?

I actually made a big bet on the horse that was second in that Mike Lee. I've gotten over it and don't have a particular feeling about the Mike Lee as a result.
