Default Tim Russert

Apparently died of a heart attack.

RIP

I really liked him on Sunday Mornings.
He would get his staff to bring up past
statements etc... and really grill politicians.
Always well prepared, and excellent followup
questions on the fly.

Wow. Very sad. I too, also enjoyed his work a great deal. He definitely appeared to love politics and the regular soap opera that is Washington.

RIP - Go Bills

Default Terrible News: Tim Russert Dead at 58

Tim Russert died this afternnon at the age of 58 of an apparent heart attack. It's a shame. He seemed like such a good guy. I think he did a great job. He was one of my favorites.

I think in his honor I will go buy his book about his life and his dad Big Russ.

I as well always enjoyed his work, especially when I was able to watch him on Sunday mornings. You could see his love of what he did in his eyes when he spoke and listened.

He'll be missed during the Election coverage this year. He never let his opinion get in his way of good sound reporting, questioning and investigating. A shame.

Default So Tragic.......

He was such an outstanding journalist, wonderful interviewer, best selling author, just great. To me he gave you the impression of a guy you'd like to hang out with, also seemed to be a great family man. Sad, sad loss. Was so looking forward to his contributions to the upcoming election coverage. RIP, condolences to his wife and son Luke.

Man, that's coarse.

He was great.. Quite a shocker. A real pro.

Homicide: L.O.T.S. fans will recall how he was written into the show as the cousin of "Capt. Megan Russert" (Isabella Hoffman) and appeared in an episode or two...
