Default Irish Oaks

massive shock - Aidan O'Brien wins, gets his 7th successive Irish Classic with Moonstone and has the 2nd Ice Queen as well who nearly nicked it going down by just a short head. Andre Fabre's Gagnoa was 3rd.. Very interesting at the end having the winner all decked out in the Darley blanket..

If Godolphin get 1/4 of the G1 wins Coolmore do, they'll be delighted..

The coolmore bosses are now reaping the rewards for entering this industry with an actual business plan. Very well done to them, they know how to run a successful business, they know which horses to buy (apart from The Green Monkey )and most of all, they have a top training organisation that knows how to train and rest horses.

Godolphin came into this game with a short term plan with no respect for what the future could hold, and now it is really showing and much of their frustration has resulted in 'panic buying'.

I thought Ice Queen had won yesterday, I'm thrilled with Moonstone, though. She is the filly I have been following since she finished second on her debut. She looks as though she still has plenty to learn and should continue to improve.
