did anyone else find this new one offensive?

i get it but i think a lot of middle america may not. this just reinforces stereotypes about dinner parties where lobster is served.

the cover is a huge failure because it will only play well to a certain segment of regular New Yorker readers who actually think that this is how Obama is viewed by his detractors, namely conservative republicans. most will find it tasteless. I thought it was totally inappropriate. It makes me laugh because the whole thing is based on a myth. they just don't get it.

All things considered I don't know why he and his wife would not expect these things.I guess it was a satire,but I only saw the cover.
