Default Scat Daddy extremely unimpressive Bold Ruler

Bold Ruler can we please stop hearing your uneducated nonsense now? You have been lecturing us about how awesome this horse is and how hes the best in pletchers barn, better than Quay(LOL!!!), etc.
He was life and death to run down a maiden in the final strides in very ordinary time(won't be much of a fig on sheets).
You wanna bet heads up who wins more this year he or Quay let me know ok?

this was a 2yr old race ? talk of being off form and a maiden is a bit premature for juvis imo. hey, the youngster dug in and won. it says a lot of good things about his attitude. i'll leave it at that.

Scat Daddy was life and death to get past a horse CQ cruised by in his last race.

Well, I like the name anyway. If he won, it don't matter how to me. Just get-er done.

I made my first show wager in 10 years on this race today on War Wolf. At the 3/8, I wasn't convinced Scat was gonna hit the board and that I had a chance to make some noise. JRV had to beat him like a baby seal to just get up.

As Scat Daddy goes longer, he'll get slower on the figs....JMO

I love how i am educated when I have said repeatedly 2yr olds are quirky. Oh, did the horse win today. If you asked me, he looked beaten and came back to win. Only good horses do that.

So here, because you are a little slow I will spell it out point by point for you:

1) If you want to bet 2yr old vs 2yr old I will take Frankels horse over CQ any day. Hell, I will take Pletcher's Soaring By over CQ. When Scat Daddy gets over being green, I will take him too. Either way, I believe you said NO 2yr OLD WILL EVER BEAT CQ. I will be up there next weekend, so put up or shutup. I will take a 2yr old and you can have CQ. Should I start giving Frankels horse a BJ like you did to CQ? LOL.

2) Scat Daddy, like CQ, is undefeated and has a graded stakes under his belt;

3) Scat Daddy is still very green and he figures are still faster than those pedestrian figures CQ has run;

4) CQ has beaten nothing, just like SD;

5) Where is your monster CQ?; and

6) When CQ gets smoked, you are going to never hear the end of it. I believe you said no two year old could ever beat him.

Absolutely. These guys are more impressed with a slow horse that won a race against garbage in a race that set up for him.

CQ won his race by a length. You act like he won by 30.

Man you guys are bold with the two year olds. They change so quickly... dont see how its such a sure thing. Babies grow up at diff. rates. One day you take a look at a horse that looks great next to his peers and he is peerless. Next month, he looks like a juvenile that has not hatched compared to others. Its quite amazing how fast they change form and musculature.

Good LUCK with forseeing with this age group.

I am not bold. I said 100x they change quickly and it doesn't matter. Read the CQ thread. Oracle said the dumbest things i ever read about a two year old. He said he was the best in 10 years, and he could never be beaten by another two year old. Ridiculous, uneducated statements.

LOL!!
Frankel doesnt train any of the horses we are taking about you mental midget.
And just becuase these so called friends of friends are experts seem to be consistently wrong on just about everything you speak of, you might wanna learn how to watch and understand things on your own, something you obviously can't do since you fail to see how unimpressive Scat was today.
You just keep that wagon hitched to a horse who was life and death to get by that maiden in a slow race. Good luck to you and your buddies as well.
By the way please introduce me to that simpleton friend of yours who wants to bet Showing Up vs English Channel when they meet, take that guy to the cleaners.

Never said he could never be beaten, but i did say that Cotton Blossom wouldn't lose the Schuylerville and you had some genius things to say, blah blah blah. She cruise, Boldruler lose. Boldruler no like it that he always wrong.

Les Grands Trois is the frankel horse. Much better than CQ. I never said Scat Daddy was better than CQ, I said the barn thought that, and that is a fact. Go ask them. Why was CQ in KY and not NY?

As for Showing Up, I might take that bet, no need to bring anyone else in. Lets just say you might want to be careful betting against him in the Secretariat. As I told you about a month ago, they planned on the Secretariat, Turf Classic (which I believe you told me was at Belmont) and then the BC Turf. Tagg confirmed this in the NYT article on Showing Up last week. Lets just say the horse is improving quite a bit. When Tagg says he is going after the Eclipse Award, you might want to pay attention, because he is the most conservative guy in the world. Some of the guys now think he might be as good as Barbaro on the turf, primarily because he came back in the Colonial without even breathing hard. There was a little reason he was kept out of the VA Derby, but it wasn't because he needed the rest.

Stop putting words in my mouth. Produce them. I never said that. I actually bet the horse. I just said it is crazy to bet real money on 2yr olds. Even in that race the favorite stumbled out of the gate, proving my point.

Sorry, but you said in one thread no 2yr old would ever beat CQ.

Hey Oracle, I guess you know more than the guy who trains him. Is that the word impressive and I believe your thread said unimpressive. Please stop by and correct Pletcher tomorrow. LOL.

"It was impressive what he did the last 50 or 60 yards," Pletcher said. "The Hopeful (gr. I, $250,000, seven furlongs, Sept. 4) will be the most logical thing."

"The good news now is that he has an educational trip under his belt," said Pletcher, Saratoga's leading trainer the past four years who won his third Sanford. "He got dirt in his face and he was down inside and he was a little green. Once (Velazquez) got him outside and in the clear, he got into that big stride he's got. I didn't think he was going to get there."
