Is Frankel leaning towards running Spring Waltz?

He has maintained for the last 10 days or so that Spring Waltz will run in the Molly Pitcher unless something happens to Ginger Punch.

As full of crap as he is, he seems fairly straightforward when it comes to Ginger Punch.

No . . . I think she's going in the Ruffian and then the breeding shed.

Now that Hysterical Lady is in that race instead of the grade 1 at Saratoga, I'm sure Frankel will dodge that race as well.

I assume that's what you are referring to, the presence of HL.

I can't believe more people are not talking about this race. I just saw it on HRTV and what an awesome race by Ginger Punch, and she was reportedly in heat also.

This was an awesome race-- Ginger Punch showed that she is one heckuva champion.

Belmont? Wasn't her weak track Santa Anita?
If you are implying that GP is unbeatable there, I'd have to strongly disagree.

Of course she would have, she rocked!

I've read on this board so many times about how awful Ginger Punch is and how certain people can't wait to bet against her though that she has really grown on me for failing to lose.

From what I remember Sightseek was good, but only around Belmont's 1 turn routes was she really, really good. Perhaps that is a little unfair.

I'm at work so I can't access this past p/ however my memory vaguely remembers her defining moment in a race against Azeri in the BC Distaff, I was somewhat disspointed in that much anticipated matchup that day. I think both these fillies GP and SS are very good fillies but great I'm not so sure.

On dirt, away from SA, Sightseek won her first nine starts. Tracks included Belmont, Saratoga, Keeneland, Churchill, AQU and Gulfstream.

Her first loss was in a sloppy race at CD, but I'm not sure that's a valid reason for her loss, as she had won over the slop at another track before that.

She won two of her next three, with the loss coming as a second to Azeri at Saratoga.
