An amazing photo
Attachment 996
Ya know.. you see pictures like this and all you can say is "wow" This is only about 60 miles from me in a place called Crystal Beach/Bolivar Peninsula. Hard to believe people actually stayed and tried to ride the storm out.. Last edited by cowgirlintexas : 10-31-2008 at 11:15 PM. |

I saw that on the news. The only house still standing, built in 2006? I think they said. Supposed to withstand a catagory 5.

That's one hell of a house. Not even a shingle missing.

Perhaps that builder should be put in charge of re-building.

Yeah, very cute. All passed out from sniffing gas and starter fluid.

It was a picture from someone that was affected by the storm. They didn't have power and I guess the baby decided to curl up with the puppies.

The photo your referring to was taken at Christmas 2006. Justin was 4 I have changed hairdressers since then. Maybe I should go back if his haircuts took that many years off! |

Good.
Take Dimmy's corpse with you. I'm through beating him like a drum tonight. Last edited by Mortimer : 09-21-2008 at 11:33 AM. |

They had the owner on the last nights evening news and he said it was built withstand a cat 5 or winds of 135mph..He is hoping it will inspire the neighbors and to give them hope that they can live on the water..
Not me, I would be saying "fucl< it". Really hard to believe that some people stayed there during the storm.. Quite a few are missing and presumed washed out to sea |

Reminds me of the Three Little Pigs. That house must have cost some serious That guy could have stayed home and watched football while his neighborhood washed away.
