Default Thank You Jason Bay.....

They may not win this one tonight but the futility of the Red Sox for the first 5 innings was just ridiculous. Lackey is no CC .....Come on Lester let's make this stand up....Jason Bay again trying to make us feel good about Manny living in Blue Man land

What a play by Youkilis to get Vlad out at 3rd. Sprung up like a chicken with a nice throw over to third. WOW

Youk is money in the field....went a year without an error at first base. The accuracy if the throw and the waddle of Vlad is what made the play.

I would like to see an insurance run though.....

Masterson has come so far as the year has worn on.......the kid has a helluva future with the Sox.

His release of the ball makes for a hellish trip to the batter's box. Kid is the goods.

Sox have the halo's down now they have to stomp on their throats by not being content with just one win in LA. You might see Tito sit Lowell til they come back to Boston with Youk at third though there is no way Shaun Casey makes that play on Vlad......It's nice to be the underdog and still be the defending champ....

Tried my hardest to stay awake last night...but the eyelids got heavier with each passing inning. I made it through about 4 innings and then woke up to catch the bottom of the 8th. I just knew the 2-1 lead was safe

Saw the highlights and it sure looked like Lester took command after Bays homer. Seemed to get real aggresive and go after the hitters. 10 straight now against the Halos in the postseason...lets add another 2 to that streak and head to the ALCS

The funny thing is all the experts moaned on what a bad thing it was for Beckett to be held back. I mean Beckett is one of the best post season pitchers of all time...but both Lester and Dice K were much better pitchers this year. Beckett was not that great this year at all. They had the two right guys going in LA. Nice to have Beckett in the hole however!

Wouldn't surprise me one bit, Cubs are garbage, for them to show up like that AGAIN, two years in a row, is ridiculous.

We will see if there is any urgency tonight....

Who's got the hill for each club tonight?

That series is the most likely to go 5 IMO.

I hope Z can even it up for ya's.

The Phils, on the other hand, have to go up against CC using Brett "2 and 2/3" Myers..
