Default 10/5: Belmont ($73k C/O)

Had a handful of good opinions on "Best Value" types Saturday, particularly in the Woodbine stakesfest, and hope it helped you score. I was on the road for the day and was a tad anguished to be unable to play...

Grand Adventure (Summer - $18.10); True to Tradition (Nearactic - $18.40) and Chamberlain Bridge (Woodford - $39.40) were all Best Values that came through, but day ended agonizingly when I missed 2 enormous P4's going into last legs live. 4th choice 'Exotic Adds' Radical Sabbatical and Marsh Side both won setting off jumbo Quad returns of $11,925 in New York and $8,970 in Toronto. Hope everyone did well and the selections were helpful...

$73,000 carryover at Belmont has been looked at and appears approachable. At Keeneland, the underplayed P6 there has reached $121,000...

A sloppy track today? Was it even forecast to rain in NYC?

Wish I was in Keeneland.

I was shocked when I woke up and saw that. I went to sleep real late and didn't see/hear any rain, so I have no idea when all the rain snuck in.

The most interesting race of the day was the 2 year old filly turf race. Didn't rain much in my area (Brooklyn) but, then again, I don't have a turf course to nurse through a FULL WINTER of turf racing.

Luckily, KEE and OSA offer BETTER racing.
