Default Aqueduct 7th Saturday..

Fascinating maiden turf mile today as part of the Big A carryover card..
  • Weaver 's Three Bridge Road (10) is square at 5-1 and has OK turf debut masked somewhat by off the turf 2nd out.

  • KMc's (5) Tapit's Brew (3-1), who improved 2nd out on grass and improved further stretching out last time would be no surprise..

  • Tom Bush sends 7-2 Stormy Atlantic bay Get Stormy (7), and he has faced quality in his two wide posted starts where he was beaten less than 3L both times..

  • Clement (4) has En Fuego (8-1), and he gets goggles: a move that has resulted in 3 of 7 wins 'first time' and 5 of 13 overall 'blinkers on'.

Very fun affair and a race that will make the carryover and P4 especially challenging...

Any other insights/input on this??

Of the 4 you spotted there are some delicious pedigrees to behold . They all have their strengths and uniqueness . En Fuego (El Prado) out of the stakes winning German mare Meridiana, by Lomitas gets the edge .

I've gotta toss Get Stormy - I'm very interested to see what Benzel can do with the 3 Sugar Forrest. Mad stats dirt to turf and stretching out but the draw is concerning.

Turned out straightforwardly... Hard-earned victory for the Bush runner. On lead the whole way and refused to yield late when confronted on both sides by the PL and SH horses. Good race!

Lil Birnie keeps running for 4th and I get the Super, so of course he feels the heaviets $2.40 in racing and stops

I was already out of the pick 6 so it didn't bother me that Tapit's Brew wouldn't/ couldn't go around
