Council Member in CA for 2009

DRF did an article on Council Member, the last Seattle Slew offspring to retire it would appear. The story says CM's from SS's final crop which is bs. I know because he had 4 fillies in his last 2003 crop. Seriously, it requires simple research. Yes it's trivial but I just think it's weird he went out of his way to point out something that's not true given pedigree research should've indicated how many of Slew's offspring were in CA or still racing or whatever. Maggie Slew is the one I can name from SS's last crop off the top of my head. I dunno what she's up to now.

That said, has anybody seen CM in person? Is he a good fit out west? I find it interesting he was one that the Taylors sought out and bought to go on and do nicely with.
