Default PETA tries to buy Super Bowl advertising

Oh. My.

PETA supporters, your 'donation to animals'** dollars at work

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/0..._n_161180.html

**Trick phrase. PETA doesn't help any animals.

Uh ... the ad was rejected by NBC (?) for being too sexy. Woman and vegetables.

Seriously.

Video at the above link.

Dang - just noticed I have posted two threads. Lo siento!

the commercial made no sense to me

for somereason I thought about the bugs bunny cartoon where Bugs ends up in a witch's stew pot and she is cutting up veggies and adding it to the stew. He has her drink a potion and she turns from an ugly old witch to young beautiful witch.

I would imagine (since I'm not a woman) that pumpkins would be a poor choice of veggie for whatever it was they were trying to convey...there. Jus' sayin'

Here's most of the commericals for Superbowl...they look as interesting as the game, actually very bad.

PETA isn't stupid. Get their name out there associated with the Superbowl, zero ad dollars spent, everyone talking about them.
