i never thought derrick thomas would make it in, i didn't think he played long enough. another player (7) to the "Bama wing" of the HOF. now we just need to get Snake Stabler in.

He played 11 years and made 9 pro bowls not to mention that it wasn't as though he walked away. I never understood why he didnt make it before. I also dont understand why a player is prevented from getting in by Ralph Wilson or any other non player. Let them have a seperate election.

he should have been in long ago! he changed the game as a punter. middle of his career handled the KO's and even took a few snaps at QB, when the raiders were in a pinch.
any body my age learned to punt a football from watching ray guy!
