Default racetrack

has anyone seen this film..its in black n white..shot in the 70s ..its centered around belmont in the spring i think..anyway great footage of belmont back side and the whole exp. 3 hooves rating. if anyone knows who is the trainer that is profiled in the film id like to know.

I know they spent a lot of time on Johnny Campo. I think it was the Pleasant Colony year, which would be 1981, but I'm not sure. Isn't it more at Aqueduct than Belmont?

I haven't seen it in a few years but it's definitely fun to watch. It was made by Frederick Wiseman, who is considered one of the premier documentary filmmakers of the past century.

it was alot of belmont..and you may be right about the year..the farm and stable that the birthing scenes were is what i was asking about..really a good film and done in a fine way..no agenda..just what you see is what you get.
