SAR: Day 10 - Whitney/Test
Friday was finally a beautiful day weather-wise, but a rotten day wagering-wise. We came off the turf, which is annoying enough, but then after looking at races with an eye towards mud, the track was fast by about the 3rd race... Between MTO's, AE's drawing in, etc., what started out as an OK card turned lousy. Two winners that stood out in the charts, Cherokee Jewel and first Laurentide Ice, came through, but we didn't place a bet all day... I hate this kind of afternoon at the track.
Saturday is Whitney-Test Day and both races are deep and tough and intriguing... Great card.. great weather.. big crowd expected..
