Default Another disgrace

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB123637734394357071.html

Another burden for small business. You know the small businesses that got zero help in the stimulus package. Now we have to make our employees save money? And the limits of 2 years, 10 workers and $5000 in revenues show that this isnt the typical Democratic corporate bashing/ class warfare. These people are destroying the country's businesses one bill at a time.

http://www.nytimes.com/2009/03/07/us...litics&emc=rss

dems don't have quite the power they thought they had.

as for the link above, that's a horrible idea and plan. i hope it doesn't happen.

I think that just about every idea, bill, plan or budget that has come out in the last 2 months has been almost entirely anti business. I know most people have little understanding or even interest in economics except talking about how bad it is but it is beyond me how this country is going to be able to rally economically if business is continually undermined and harmed? I understand politics and the Democrats class warfare. Hell it helped win them the election. But if this guy doesnt start HELPING business, I dont know who is going to create all these new jobs that are needed? This is a liberal, social agenda driven policy. We are going to MAKE people save. We are going to turn the 15% that save to 80% by forcing business to do the dirty work. Of course that will HURT business overall which will cause more layoffs and further contraction which will leave the worker less money in the end.

and I thought the idea was for everyone to spend? Loosen up credit, borrow money and spend. That how we were going to help the economy.....

Seeing Timmi, Cannon, Dellinger, and Arl Jim melt over Obama is pretty priceless.

Can they possibly keep this pace up for years and sustain it?

At this rate there will only be one business left by the year end. It will be the Government. I didn't know I moved to France

France does have one of the best public healthcare systems in the world.

yeah, whatever it takes, but realistically it ain't going to last for years. Obama is the one who is already tired and over-whelmed.

Unlike the Bush bashers who were concerned with murky issues like wiretaps and presidential authority (most of which Obama has kept intact) and rights of terrorists, etc., us Obama dislikers are being supplied with plenty of debatable material. However there doesnt seem to be much desire by the Obama backers to debate the subjects especially when they can continue to simply bash Bush, Rush , or Timmi.

i notice that also, but can you blame them? what would they say?

you hear a lot deflection about how Rush Limbaugh had a boil on his ass, you still of course hear about how George Bush was the worst president ever, but what you NEVER hear is a vigorous defense of what has transpired so far with Mr Hopenchange.

anyone calling bush the worst ever (or cheney as the most controversial vp ever) is no student of history. too soon to know where bush will stand in years to come....but at this point i'd say he's closer to the bottom of the rankings than the top. but worst? i think that's a reach.
