Default Tampa Thursday ($64k C/O for Friday!)

Pick 4:

Race 7 - Clm 8000N2L 6.5f dirt

2 - Fire Ridge - The obvious choice, but he had everything his way in his maiden breaker, so I am not willing to single. 2nd
8 - Music Seeker - Lightly raced, second off a layoff. Last time he was second off a layoff, he broke his maiden. He wasn't very happy in his return to the races. A calmer time in the gate and a better start will put this one in the mix. Scratched

Race 8 - Clm 10000N3L 6.0f dirt

8 - Zagomor - Steadily up the ladder....
2 - Uncle Herbie - Never out of the exacta on a fast dirt track. Wilensky capable off the layoff. Scratched
4 - Courting Cat - Centeno sticks. 3rd
1 - Out in the Open - Every other race pattern says this one is ready. Won, paid $6.60
7 - At Attention - Freshened, working well and dropping. 4th
6 - Romanscoliseum - The wild card. Been working on the farm for low profile connections. I'm not willing to leave off though. 2nd

Race 9 - Clm 16000 Abt 1 Mile Turf

6 - Grato Recuerdo - Wire to wire threat.
3 - Makaan - Turns back to his favorite distance, second off. Won, paid $20.20

Race 10 - Clm 5000N2Y

12 - Mahvelous Bert - Has the speed and Centeno has choices from the outside post.
2 - Wild Inquiry - Loves the track, loves the distance. Wouldn't be a shocker.

The ticket:

2,4/1,4,6,7,8/3,6/2,12 = $40

GL

Revised for scratches.

Love Music Seeker in the first leg 12-1 m/l ... Tossing Creative Love's last and he fits nicely as well... No idea what got into Fire Ridge last out - 1:18 is flat out smoking for msw much less mdn 8...gotta figure he returns to earth...gonna use but not crazy at all about him

Creative Love's maiden breaker was a wire to wire job and he won't get the lead here. I'm quite sure Fire Ridge goes to the lead again tomorrow trying to recreate his last. Whether he throws an anchor out at the 1/16th pole or not remains to be seen....

CL closed off the pace at the condition two back to within a length and 3/4 while "fractious and 5 wide" - gets the extra half panel back and a bone dry surface..leave off at your peril Biggsie

Unless Proctor has been hanging out with Ness, FR is a huge bounce (not sayin' nothin'...jus' sayin")

Forgot to mention - Just got a workout notice - Wicked Sweet is back at the Downs in the exceedingly capable hands of none other than the illustrious Mr. Ness..

I don't doubt there will be a regression, but if they send and he gets a cushion, he may hang on at a very very short price and turn it into a P3. Poctor is plenty capable.

I can't afford to go more than two deep because the next race is impossible and if Lucky Leo draws into the turf race, I need to change the whole ticket. I think GR gets and easy lead without Leo in the race, with Leo in, I don't even use GR.

Don't you love making a deal with someone only to have them do the exact opposite that they told you they were doing?

Now that's what I'm talking about. You single handedly will boost the handle at Tampa Bay.....maybe they should be paying you for this

I'll be playing/watching today ($20 handle increase!)

Got the LS workout notice as well... Pretty crappy... As far as WS, she hasn't won a race since they decided to give her to Ness at Canterbury last summer. That's got to be a record.

Actually have had to work today so no time to really cap...except the 9th.

I'm going with #4 Golden Wildcat. This 4YO makes his 4th start of the year. The dam out of Kris S, he's shown talant on the lawn winning 3 oout of 7. Raced 1 1/8th last which was too long and should be tight for a mile.
