Hey Pat...
Tell Kachgai to behave himself (heard he got loose when Albertus Maximus and Black Seventeen were on the track). If you ever happen to hear what happened with Act of Diplomacy last week... any news is appreciated. Thank you and have fun. Can't wait for your updates! |

For what it is worth, I expect Jose Adan to run a real good race in the UAE Derby. He gets 2nd there and he would still have the earnings to come over here for the Derby, doubt he can beat Desert Party though |

Pat, I'm a huge fan of the World Cup and looking forward to following the goings from your site.
Scav, I agree Desert Party, looks like the real deal.

Hey gang - here are some of the early pics from Dubai. Didn't get on track til 8:30 this morning, and so, missed most of the horses. But after 24 hrs of travel, and a 1am hotel check in, I expect I'll catch more horses tomorrow once I can get some sleep.
I have some good shots of Meydan rising behind Nad al Sheba - it is really going to be something. http://dubairacenight.com/meydan-rising/ Desert Party should be, and deserves to be, the shortest favorite of the night. Jose Adan, in my opinion, is just too slow, much too slow, to compete with him. On paper, Desert Party should win by open space. If he doesn't win easy by more than four to five lengths, the result would be a surprise. I will be developing my own morning line for each of the races and will publish the night of the post position draw. All lines are true to the international commingled pool takeout and represent only my subjective opinion. |
