Default Virginia/Maryland bettors

Not sure if anyone else heard about or experienced this, but Rosecroft Raceway, the harness track/OTB on the other side of the Potomac in Maryland had it's signal suspended by the Maryland Racing Commission Friday and Saturday, which resulted in an inability to bet on the Derby simulcast. If you hadn't heard about the story, they kindly let you know about it AFTER you purchased your program. Nice. The lady selling programs, who was the first person that most people encountered, was advising people not to bother to go to Laurel Park, because they were turning people away & not letting any additional people in the facility. This was, of course, a blatant lie. I got to Rosecroft about 2:45, and they claimed that a decision would be made "by the federal courts" by 3....and then 4.....not sure what ever happenned with it, but I headed to Laurel Park (after calling first) and placed my bets. Bad situation. Sorry, had to vent.
