Default trifecta movies

saw the following movies fri nite..

the wrestler

slum dog

the day the earth stood still

i thought the wrestler was by far the best..its not for kids but the performance was fantastic. everyone has a bit of old glory in them.. and everyone is a phuck up.. i give it 3 horse shoes..

slum dog.. good plot but just too dirty of a reality for me and the big question
was bogus.. i give it 2.5 horse shoes

the day..so weak on using matrix guy as the alien..1.5 shoes

the shoe rating

4 excellent must see
3 best of the rest
2 good to see but really pretty lame
1 wtf i could have played a super at hollywood

Saw Star Trek last night 3.5 horse shoes. Great effects, characters from first TV show all with more depth. Better than I expected

I could honestly say, that THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL, was one of the worst movies I have ever seen. It was just awful!

Not bad, but my fav is "Saving Private Ryan". Talked to a couple of guys who were there and they said they can't even watch it that it is so realistic.

Signs that horse racing may be occuping too much of your life:

- You give out horseshoes instead of stars or thumbs in movie ratings.

i know you have to suspend disbelief during most movies and it wasn't the worst writing crime but did anyone else notice that the questions on slumdog occur so that he recalls his life in chronological order?

how likely is that? and it's not like memento, pulp fiction, and other movies haven't been more interesting because they don't use this conceit. it just had to be just spot on the nose exact?

i thought that was weak.

good movie. but probably wouldn't have gotten a nomination in better years. it was no trainspotting.

If you haven't yet, "Taking Chance" with Kevin Bacon is a MUST see. Now out on DVD. Kleenex optional.

I don't have one of those, but I would recommending using your Scaveneese to English dictionary (I know you have one of those). The languages seem to be very similar, kind of like Spanish and Portuguese.
