![]() its appalling how Obama time and again goes out of his way to slap Great Britain in the face. nothing remotely close happened under Bush. his handling of Gitmo is a textbook case of ineptitude and naivete.

and also, surely we can reach out to some of these countries while not pissing off our traditional allies? so, now instead of just china being mad at us over those guys, england is as well. as my son would say, well that's just fantastic. i just think it's going to take more than a couple of pretty speeches to fix what's been broken for years. it may actually not even be fixable past a certain point. thing is, even if we try to reach common ground, we still need to make sure we're reaching out to something that doesn't reach out and bite us back for our efforts. |
