As busy as I've been at work these past few weeks, with all the great cards at the various tracks, it figures that when work has slowed down I'd be slumming it at SAR, with 2 off the turfers.

In any event, I think both the 2 and 8 have real shots in the 1st. Maybe neither can beat the 7, but either can certainly be 2nd. The exactas are decent.

Albarado should be able to sit a perfect trip with the 2 but he's shown in the past that he lacks the ability to take advantage of these situations.

That group in the second was HORRIBLE, HOW DOES ANYONE COME UP WITH THE 6?
My friend is here watching races with me, I gave him 12-1 on the 8, for 20 bucks.
I thought the 8 was IMPOSSIBLE.

How could you not look at the 6 as a possible play?

Comes from a solid family of runners (Rafit, Tommasi, Gattinara), was nicely bet in its intial start, a race that had two next out winners, and had been working pretty nice at Saratoga since her first start. I thought she was a must use.

A very mediocre card thus far, was going to wait till the 7th to play; however Eire's Run at 8/1 is certainly worth a stab in the 6th.

I agree with you, really tough to make a very favorable case for that 6 in the second.

Late stab:

6- 1,10
7- 2,3,5,6,7,8
8- 2,5
9- 2,3,4,5,7

I hope I can get thorugh the 6th and 8th here and get a price in the last.

Good capping by you if you scored with this one, but I couldn't make a favorable case. Seemed to me that Bond wanted this one on turf first out (which got washed off) and the blinks and cutback are not moves he is very successful with. Factor in that the solid family of runners have a combined 14 wins, but all of those wins around two turns, this one did not jump off the page to me in a 1 turn sprint.

We both got through the 6th, but we totally disagree on the 8th.

Felt that this is a tough sequence and I had to take a stand somewhere. I just couldn't decide where to take the stand other than I knew it wouldn't be the 7th, whether it was with Rice in the last, the 1,10 in the 6th and hope that the Pletcher would not beat me, or in the 8th.

Ultimately I decided to do it in the 6th and 8th and hope for a price or two in the 7th and 9th. The 8th scares me, but I am hoping if the 1 and 2 duel one of two things will happen, the 2 is just good enough to go on and win or they will take each other out and I feel the 5 has the best shot to clean up the pieces. On the other hand, if the 1 lets the 2 go, I don't think the 1 can rate and win and if the 2 gets and easy lead, he will be tough, so I am hoping for the best there. Good Luck!

Race 7) $1 Pick 3 --- 1 2 4 5 8 / 2 4 5 6 / 5 10 --- = $40

$1 Super Key --- 2 / 1 4 5 8 --- = $24

My bad, I thought she was entered on the turf first out, did not have time to go back and see that. Good call!
