The pitch selection is not nearly as bad as the location.

Dude, you throw that f'n ball in the dirt or at his f'n head, you don't throw three straight of the same f'n pitches to major leaguers...

I can really care less but I really want the Angels to win and stupid **** like that, it is less likely to happen

Like Chuck said, it wasn't the pitch, it was the location.

Wouldnt that be location? That ball caught way too much plate on 0-2 when you know he just saw what you have in taking the first 2 strikes. As a sidearm lefty he doesnt have much of a breaking pitch for righties. Lets face it Fuentes got a lot of saves but isnt overpowering. Hell his ERA was close to 4.

But a different pitch selection would have negated that...

Robertson just threw a pitch in that same place, high strike zone, right down the middle and a bum like Mathis crushed it.

He hung a few to Matthews and got away with them.

Why isn't Girardi running for Posada? He should still have Harriston and Cervelli on the bench?

Wow, they would rather face A-Rod then Texieria right now? A lot of questionable managing tonight.

McCarver says clearly you go after Tex. They promptly unintentionally, intentionally walk him

It paid off for them. Personally I think Girardi has managed a terrible game tonight. They had opportunities earlier to play small ball, but he opted to let guys swing away and they hit into DP's every time. Then not running for Posada there is kind of hard to phathom. Especially with guys like Guzman and Gardner coming up after A-Rod. He really needed to go for it all that inning.

Oh boy, Cano with his second. This feels like it could be a big inning for the Halos.

Girardi has seemingly left himself with only one available pitcher. There is no reason why Santana cant pitch 4 or 5 innings if needed for LAA. Santana has always been shaky in the 1st inning as a starter.
