Default Is it raining at Belmont?

Its pouring here (Saratoga)...

Is there a place on the NYRA site that has the current track condition and maybe the weather at the track?

It cant be too hard to have somebody who has been on the track for the morning workouts to communicate what the track condition is to somebody who has access to updating the site....can it?

This would be most helpful to people who are handicapping in the early morning, who cant wait until 11am.

per NYRA.com, track conditions updated at 7:51am, showers, with the only 2 turf races OFF, races 4 and 5. Actual track condition unknown for now, but semi-safe to assume sloppy.

Go to the weather channel web site and type in Elmont, NY and look at current conditions. Must we complain about everything that horse racing does? How do you know what the weather was in Saratoga? you looked out the God damn window. It would take the same amount of time to check the weather channel as it would to type this crap in a thread.

Thanks. Found it under Turf Course Updates. It was actually updated again 3 minutes ago and the track is sloppy/sealed. I was looking in the wrong place under Scratches, thought maybe they would have it there.

I wasnt complaining, I was asking, hence the question mark symbol, or is that too hard to comprehend? And its raining so hard in Saratoga, you dont need to look, you can listen.

Sorry for my earlier rant but on the nyra.com under handicapping there is also a link to the weather.

Cool. Sorry if my tone sounded like a complaint.

And man, its like a summer storm here. If we were racing here today, it would be sloppy and all races off!

Good luck if playing.

Was going to scrap all involvement and do my leafs, but not possible!
