Default Illinois and its ADW Deal

I thought this was really interesting and hilarious

If you wager through TVG on out of state track, the Illinois earned purse money goes to Fairmount

If you wager through TwinSpires on out of state track, the Illinois earned purse money goes to Arlington Park

If you wager through Youbet on out of state track, the Illinois earned purse money goes to Hawthorne/Balmoral/Maywood

If it is an IL track you wager on regardless, the actual track gets the purse money.

Arlington really gets the benefit from all this because TVG just started taking bets and while Youbet is best, they weren't taking Arlington bets for a while

Are you sure the money doesn't go to CDI? I thought that's why it was such a bad deal...the money is taken out of state to CDI.

Indirectly it goes to CDI because it is Arlington, but the money wagered goes into Arlington's purse structure. Read the ITHA email that was most likely just sent to you.

I saw that race... I double checked the DRF to make sure it wasn't an arabian race

I signed up for that free $50 for IL residents. Got it, bet and lost $5.
Signed up under my wife's name, got the $50, bet and lost $10.

On a whim the next day I tried to withdraw the remaining $85 from both accounts, it worked, checks came a few days later.

We're going to use it to bet the BC together on my regular betting site, thanks TVG.

Well, they certainly built a nice casino in Indiana near the Cincinnati airport. Seriously, it's like Venetian-nice.

That sounds like BS. You had to bet 50 to get 50 and when I did not get my 50 they tried to tell me it was a separate promo from the first 1000 promo. I repeat, tried.

Though I live and bet in Illinois I rarely play Illinois races. When I went to Fairmount I was treated like a King so I am glad they are getting the benefit of my dollars. This should all play out good in April when Blago's trial starts.

Thanks for the link.

I don't think the free $50 for IL residents lasted longer then a day or two, probably because they realized people could just withdraw it right away.

It's not BS, why would I make that up.

Do you even watch TVG? The offer is up right now. The terms are very clear and I am pretty sure almost everyone here knows them.

I'm telling you they advertised on their channel a free $50 wager for IL residents. The way they made it sound was you had to bet the whole $50 in one wager.
I signed up, the $50 appeared right away in my account, I bet $5 to win on a horse, they accepted the wager and I lost.
I then signed up under my wife's name, they put the $50 in right away, I bet a few times and lost $10.20 then I quit for the day.
The next day even though I didn't think it would work, I tried to withdraw the $. It worked, here is my wife's check since you still think I'm BS'ing you.

I saw the promotion you are talking about, the bet 50 to get 50. Again, this was different.

Dude, he's a clown. Who cares what he thinks.

On a semi-related note, why does xpressbet ask you what state you are in when you log on?..and how do they know if you are telling the truth?

I think it was the first 1,000 IL residents- like you said, lasted about a day or two. Definitely was not BS.

I was one of the first 1000 Illinois residents. Are you saying they owe me ANOTHER 50?
