Default NY Gov. Meets on Aqueduct Casino Project

Can we get this done already!!

Gov. David Paterson and state legislative leaders met behind closed doors Oct. 29 in Manhattan to try to resolve the selection of an operator for the long-stalled Aqueduct casino project.

From the article...
"SL Green group this week released a list of minority and women-owned businesses they claim are supporting its bid."

"Also back in the running has been Aqueduct Entertainment Group, whose partners include Navegante Group, Turner Construction, and an organization tied to Rev. Floyd Flake, a politically connected Queens Democrat."

As long as the minorities, women, and Rev Flake are appeased all is well . That's the main thing . Horse racing is secondary .

Keep up the good work Guv.

What's the rush? Let them work it out for a few more years.. Slots will never be at Aqueduct at least not in my lifetime and I expect to live at least 15 more years
