Default That track Nick Luck mentioned

Hey Steve, while I was listening to the show, you, Haskin, and Nick Luck briefly discussed a track without a grandstand that may or may not be kaput. Sounded like Grey Leaves. What was that? I tried to google more about it and I got Google's version of 'um, never heard of it.'

I believe they said Great Lakes Downs, but don't quote me on that.

Great Leighs Racecourse..
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/rac...otiations.html

Hope everyone liked Nick Luck's take on the Euros. He's highly respected and he loved that there was no rush to thoroughly discuss the horses and races.

Clockers John Malone (Santa Anita) and Mike Welsch (DRF) today on how everyobe looks...

Thanks Steve! You guys painted such a picture I had to learn more about it. I enjoyed hearing the discussion about other courses too. Always great to talk with Nick. Excellent show as usual.

Here's a couple links I found for anybody else who's interested. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Leighs_Racecourse and http://www.greatleighs.com/general.php?id=8 Don't got to greatleighs.com because it won't send you to the racecourse site, just to a list of administrators. There are images on google. http://static.guim.co.uk/sys-images/...leighs-002.jpg To quote Liz Lemon on 30 Rock, "I want to go to there." I hope it works out for them.
