I knew it, our window of opportunity has been shut. Now if everybody didnt already know it, they do now.

i happen to like les miles. you're not going to win every game every year, and you're certainly not going to be in the hunt for the title every year either. expectations for these programs is completely unrealistic.

I happen to like Miles as well, but I call a spade a spade. Today was an unacceptable way to manage the end of the game by any coach, and they were in no way going to have a chance to win that game with no plan for the end of the game. Miles had no clue that they had a chance to win that game, and to just throw time away is inexcusable. But this whole season has been lesson in mismanagement, seen first-hand by me from section 306, row J, seat 12, Tiger Stadium.

i'll be at the game next week, hoping for a different result than the one i've been on hand for the last two years. and, no, the last few seconds yesterday wasn't his finest moments as coach. but i know they can do better, and will.

Verne Lundquist was openly sobbing. Miles seemed like he was drunk after the game. That was as bad a clock management as I have ever seen. They had the game handed to them on a platter twice yet still screwed it up. They deserve the Eat mor chikin bowl after that.

verne lundquist is an ass. he needs to retire. les miles needs to rethink his offensive scheme, i don't like them looking to the sideline for their plays at every down. it takes too much time, and causes too many delay of game calls. not calling time outs asap is another issue.

I have a feeling that LSU Qb's arent exactly on the Peyton Manning level intellegence-wise. Mr Russell is a prime example.

Admittedly, this season has been very frustrating. I did not have national championship expectations at all for this year from the beginning. We are weak from an offensive line standpoint, and wealthy from a skilled person standpoint. They need to figure out how to use the wealth of talent they have, and will have for several more years to come. Geaux Tigers!

Yes, but it is what they are trying to do with the quarterbacks they have that is the problem. The O line cant pass block for sh#t, so Jefferson should have a permanent system set up for him where he can run/pass option and roll out. That would be perfect for Shepard also, as he is the best running back on the team. They are trying to run option run plays, but that will never work when the line cannot get off the ball and push the line of scrimmage in a positive direction.

russell never had to work hard to succeed til the pro's. he's an idiot for sure. no work ethic, sleeps thru team meetings. the only surprise i feel at his benching is that it took this long. but the raiders as a whole are a colossal clusterf*ck, no surprise that his career seems all but over.

Jefferson spiking the ball with one play left would fit right in with the RAIDERS!

I wasn't sure if what was unfolding before my eyes was even real...It looked like they did it on purpose. Miles' on field interview only raised my suspicions even more. I know that the 'fix' wasn't in, but they sure as hell made it look like it. That was pathetic, this coming from a Michigan fan, who btw would part ways with the program if they ever hired Miles.

you seem to almost be suggesting miles blew last night so he could get fired and go to michigan. that's hilarious.

I think he was suggesting that Miles knows what is going on during the game about as much as Bobby Bowden does.
