Default 11/27: Aqueduct (7-10); Churchill (9-12)

Hope everyone enjoyed Thanksgiving and did OK if they were able to play. 12-1 surprise package Cherokee Country from Ramon Preciado in the Fall Highweight, sent Big A P4 into the stratosphere with successful negotiation topping $6k for $1. At Churchill, chalky sequence ended with Bret Calhoun firster Walking the Beach going off as the $1.90 favorite. Mike Battaglia had made the Medaglia d'Oro debuter 8-1 in the a.m., and his lines have been increasingly sloppy and off the mark this fall.

Second of the four day fete offers up a very nice Clark Day card at Churchill, the Top Flight at Aqueduct and the opening of the Turf Festival at Hollywood (Gr. I Citation).

Steve,

I was surprised to see Einstein running today. I thought I heard that the BC was going to be his last race. Did I hear that wrong, or any insights to why the change of direction? Only thing I can figure is he's such a quality horse, they didn't want to go out on such a bad note.

Thanks in advance for any inputs.

Hope you and yours had a wonderful, safe Thanksgiving, and all the best for the Holiday season.

Best of luck today, and thanks for the tireless efforts as usual!

Scav.. I thought so too however that horse is 6-1 the 6 sits at 87-1 and pays 44,356 so if the 14 is actually a 2 out of 3 it is a big miss by someone.
