Default Ventura

She might be my personal favorite of all time. I have followed her since he first win at Keeneland. Such a headcase yet she is unbelievably talented. Unbelievable after the race Gomez pumps her fist, she throws her ears back like "where is my neck pat" and Gomez pats her on the neck and the ears go up like crazy.

Gonna miss her.

Even after he's dead, he's shoving one more chalk down throats. Any others?

A former Frankel horse won the Citation yesterday at 9-1. Granted his BC record reflects an ROI of $1.35, but the payoffs on his winners over the years were pretty good. Only Ghostzapper was favored of his six lifetime BC wins.

Squirtle Squirt ($21.20)
Starine ($28.40)
Ghostzapper ($7.00)
Intercontinental ($32.20)
Ginger Punch ($11.00)
Ventura ($7.60)

You turned a $3.20 horse into a $4.00 horse. Told Indian Charlie about the Lit horse in the 7th(cuz she reminds me sometimes of her pa.) Had her. The rest of the day is boring. Sure if you could trust the 2 horse in the 6th, then you were brave. Late pick 4 paid $150, or so. That's not usually a target number. Someone asked about that about a month ago (a target payoff.) I don't remember that as a target. Hey, I am sorry he got sick. I won't miss his constant chalk though.

Im not sure it was like stealing... The horse who won the claimer was a huge drop down off of a 18 month layoff... As for the turf sprint, I went 5 deep and did not come up with the 3.

Lo Duca n' Tom Amoss thought Ventura was easy money in the Breeders Cup. I doubt Amoss took 4-5 on her. That juicer Lo Duca probably took 4-5 for 5k. Then, he probably came back yesterday n' bet 8k to get back $4800 of his 5k.

He also looked into the camera with those weird eyes and called Music Note a mortal lock.
