Default Photo Collages

Folks-

I tried some new software out and started making these collages of photos I've taken throughout the year and would love your opinion.

Thanks-

Rachel

Zenyatta

Summer Bird

Very neat!

Did you try the Rachel collage using the maroon? Jackson's sillks are so bright it kind of pulls away from the photos.

I can do that. With the darkness of the day, I thought the gold would work.

Thank you.

I really like the concept. The pictures you take are awesome.
A couple of things, I would try to get pictures/photos from different angles. For instance many of the Zenyatta photos almost look the same. As opposed to the Rachael piece (my personal favorite) where depth wise they look different. Plus it also looks like they have been taken at different points of the event.
For the money big shot, I would use the best possible photo that you have. I'm not sure that you did that in any of the photos. For Rachael I think the full length photo with her in full stride and Cavin with his hand up is clear the best photo and should be the biggest. The best Summer Bird photo for me would be the picture where you capture his entire body at the wire. The Zenyatta one is wierd for me because everything seems so close, but the picture you featured is most likely the best one.
One last thing, would be not just to stick pictures in to take up extra space. That's what the small stable shot of Z seems like and then the Summer Bird photo's that include all the jockeys and a wierd scale wise photo of them in the winners circle.
I personally think that you are on the right track and would be interested in purchasing at the least the Rachael photo (I was there so I would love an extra souviner of the day). Plus we are getting ready to do Michaels room and I would love to put some racing stuff in his room to match some of the cool stuff Matt has. You really have beautiful work I think it's just a matter of tweaking the software/photos and getting them in the right order. Good Luck with it.

Thank you very much. That is awesome. I just started playing with it so I figured there were things I needed to learn. I will say, I have contacted the company about being able to move the photos to make sure the "money shot is the most prominent. That was excellent feedback. I will PM you with some more prototypes.

In the Zenyatta Collage, the top right picture is so awesome. Even though that result cost a couple people a small fortune, what an unbelievable race. Still get pumped when I watch it. Matter of fact...
