Default Discreet Cat works

Hooves was in attendance.. He seems to think DC is Travers bound.. Doubt it, but that would be exciting..

Why would DISCREET CAT run against BERNARDINI?

Isn't there common ownership?

I seriously doubt if he would come back in a race like that....but that would be GREAT if he did. A potential freak like that off a huge layoff against 2 top quality horses like BGC and Bern? That would be a great betting race.
Based on his past performances would anybody be shocked if DC won it? Based on his last 6 months, would anybody be shocked if he finished last?

The answer to both of these questions is probably "no" but unfortunately like I said, I WOULD be shocked if he actually runs in that race.

This has to be the most overhyped horse since Arazi. He has won one big race overseas, whose results are questionable because at least two of the logical favorites have been proven to have been 'gotten at' (given a tranquilizer before the race). Was Invasor 'got at' too? We don't know, because his trainer wasn't suspicious enough to have him tested afterward. He's been in training for his US return for 6 months, keeps being rumored to start here and then doesn't show..., In all likelihood, he will be injured in training soon and retire to stud before he can demonstrate what kind of horse he really is, for good or ill.
