Default TB Retirement Foundation - hay is for horses

Hello all!

The Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation has set up a link on their website for donating hay to feed horses in their retirement program. A bale costs $5 and will go to good use!

Thanks!

Even more simply, you can donate $5 to buy a bale by texting HAYDRIVE to 20222

a great idea and an inexpensive way to help them out.

note: A 5-year-old warmblood, who is worked moderately for an hour a day, needs more than three flakes of hay per day. A general rule is that a horse needs half a bale of hay per day to satisfy baseline dietary requirements. But depending on the horse and the hay, the amount may vary.

Disney will donate $5 to the TRF if you buy the Secretariat movie through this link. Includes a free beanie baby.
