How many horses have won this race and then went on to win the Derby the next week?

I don't know total winners, but a DRF article says that Tim Tam was the last to do so in 1958.

85/50 giving 4 pounds breaking outside and could bolt at any point. Not a solid fave.

I need Pleasant Prince to get there so my future bets have a glimmer of hope.
Was it Don't Get Mad that ran 4th after running in the Derby Trial? I'm pretty certain he got 4th just not certain he ran in the Derby Trial before running in the Derby 85 is better off outside horses more cushion between him and the inside rail maybe he won't be staring at the infield the whole race

I have not seen the pp, has Miner's Reserve been training forward? He looks interesting in this spot.

He had very quick workout the other day. A 1/2 mile in :46 flat I think.

Don't Get Mad also finished in the top 50 in earnings that year.

Interested to see how Sadler runs at CD. On first glance Hurricane Ike could be very tough if he pairs his last.

I think 85ina50 is going to have company on the lead.
I want PP to win so he can get in the Derby I believe the race would fit him a heck of a lot more than 85 ina 50 but Aikenite may ruin it for all of 'em
